EXIT Long Position does OPEN a Short Position

Hello,

I have a problem with strategy-builder: I do not understand, why Exit Long in set 4 will cause an Exit (that is right) AND a Short Entry (I don't want that) in set 4 signalname @"1_EXITWIN". Can anyone explain, why this happened and what can I do to stop filling a short position on ExitLong? Thanks a lot!

If your opposite entry condition is also becoming true that will reverse the position.

Also I do not want to go Short? How could I solve that problem, because I don't want to go short at this moment. I just want to Exit my Long position. My exit condition might be wrong? Thanks a lot.

That may be a double exit, is your exit condition becoming true multiple times while you are in a position?

Hey Jesse,

do you mean double exit, in same strategy or in another strategy? I startet two strategies, both in EUR/USD, but both do have different exit conditions. All labels/names for the exit condition are different. that is why I'm wondering about this in my first post first screenshot with "@'1_EXITWIN" - this label only exists once.

Hello hans_771,

Using multiple strategies will conflict so for the purpose of testing please only enable a single strategy. If both strategies are running they will place orders that conflict with the other running strategy.
