Feature request: selective tick data download

I don't see a way to do this presently, but I would be happy to be corrected.

I would like a way to selectively download a chunk of recent tick data. For example, my strategy starts and I get a burst of the last 10 minutes of tick data (or whatever I choose). I can then transition seamlessly into realtime.

I do not want to use tick replay as my charts go back way too far for this to be practical.
