Hghlight day of week

I'm using the strategy builder and would like to have days of week display in different colors. I've looked at using "regon X" highlight but that expects bars rather then time or date. Eventually I'd like to use this to highlight time of the day regions as well.
Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

Condition
Time > Date series, Equals, Time > Way of week > (select day of week)

Action
Drawing > Set background color > (select a color)
