Chart is blank in Strategy Analyzer

    Chart is blank in Strategy Analyzer

    Hello,

    Working on coding some strategies. Any new strategies I create today, when I run it in Strategy Analyzer, the chart is blank when I run a simple backtest.

    Any idea what might be causing this?

    Thank you for your post.

    Are you getting other results when run the test (meaning only the chart appears blank)?

    Are there no bars on the chart at all, or no trade executions?

    Does this also occur if you test using the SampleMACrossover?

      Thanks for your help.

      The chart is entirely blank, meaning there is no data or bars on it. There are also no trade executions.

      This happens on any strategy I create today. Strategies I have created in the past work fine.

        To determine if this an issue with the strategy or available data, if you test using the SampleMACrossover using the exact same instrument, bar type, interval, and date range are you seeing data on the chart?

          I do see data and executions on the chart if I test with SampleMACrossover.

            In the connections menu of the Control Center, who are you connected to for historical data?

            What is the instrument, bar type, and date range selected in the backtest?

              For historical data, I am using Ninjatrader.

              I am using ES 12-24 5min chart, candlestick, and date range is 10/01/2024 - 10/23/2024

                Hello mrmccraig,

                Are you able to open a new chart to the same instrument, bar type, and Custom date range and view the full data for the entire time period?

                Are there errors appearing on the Log tab of the Control Center?
                If so, what are the full error messages?
