OCO order does not close operations in automated strategy

Are there errors appearing on the Log tab of the Control Center when the orders are submitted?

What are the full error messages?

In the imagee the targets are not filled so no OCO action would happen, OCO is one cancels other and that only happens when one of the order fills. To confirm, you are seeing that 1 order stays open when one fills? We need to focus on the fill if you are saying there is a problem with OCO happening. The price reaching that point does not necessarily guarantee a fill, the market needs to trade at that price with volume and reach your place in line to fill the order for it to fill.

In regard to the quote of my previous message, was part of that unclear or did you have a question about that? For OCO to happen one of the orders needs to fill and close the associated position. Once that happens he other order would be cancelled. If no order was filled and the position is not closed then no OCO action will happen.

I did a new test now, as shown in the attached image.

I enabled the strategy.
She opened the sell order when the conditions were true.

The OCO order programmed in the strategy with a target and stop of $150 was opened.

The profit exit order turned gold and the loss exit order turned pink.

The price fell and reached the take profit order, but again did not execute the exit and did not deactivate the OCO.

I will put all the logs since the activation of the strategy below.

I understand, but as you can see, the price reached and exceeded the order several times.

If I do the same operation manually, it executes correctly.

So there is no error due to not completing the order.

Hello, I performed the test on a playback now and the same error happened.

The trade started correctly, as configured in the strategy, and the OCO order was added to the trade.

However, the take profit order was filled but did not close the operation and also did not cancel the other order.

This same strategy was used without error a few days ago.

And the same mistake is happening with other strategies as well.

It appears to be an error in Ninja on my machine, but I have already removed Ninja and reinstalled the most up-to-date version and the error continues.

1. Exit NinjaTrader
2. Open the Documents folder
3. Rename the NinjaTrader 8 folder to NinjaTrader 8 Old
4. Download the installer from https://account.ninjatrader.com/download
5. Install the platform, this will create a new user folder.
6. Open the platform and create a new strategy that has SetStopLoss and SetProfitTarget being used.
7. Connect to the playback connection, download data and use that for testing
8. If you still see a problem please include an image of the strategy that was applied along with the strategy .cs file that was used

To revert back to your previous data use the following steps.

On October 21st I did all of this.
I made a backup of the Ninja folder in "Documents", removed NinjaTrader8 from my computer, restarted the machine and installed the latest version available for download.

So I created a simple strategy that bought at a certain time with profit and stop determined in the strategy, and tested it.

The same errors occurred.

Yes, I did everything the way you indicated in the previous post.
But I just did it all over again.

It looks like I found the problem.
It didn't have to do with reinstalling the Ninja, nor was it a problem with the strategies.

After reinstalling, I did a test without adding anything to Ninja, I just created a new strategy. And it worked perfectly.

Then I installed other add-ons and noticed that it started to cause problems again.

I removed them one by one and realized that the problems with the OCO's only occurred when an indicator called "ATM Strategy Identifier" was installed.

I removed the indicator and everything seems to be working normally now.

I will do more tests and if everything continues well it will be certain that the problem was related to this third-party indicator.

I will inform you here to help other users who may be experiencing the same problem.

Just wanted to mention that I have the latest version of ATM Strategy Identifier and the issue still persists. Me and my developer were losing our heads for the past 1.5 months and couldn't figure out the issue. Removing ATM Strategy Identifier solved all strategies issues and everything came to life.
