Closing a position at a certain time

How do I use the strategy builder to program closing my open trade at a certain given time? For example, close my open position for /ES at 3:45 PM EST

Hello Ambo123,

You can find details in the following link showing how to make time conditions in the builder. For what you are asking you could make a condition that checks if the time is equal or greater than the target time and if so exit the position.

Thank you. I know how to do the part to set up the time condition, but I am not sure how to do the next step which is to have the trade exited at that time.

To exit the position you would need to submit an exit order. If you are in a long position, submit a exit long order.

I am trying a strategy which involves an EMA crossover on the one minute chart, but I would like to confirm the entry with the numeric value of the MACD on the Three minutes chart. How do I go about that?

In the future please make new posts for new questions.

To do that you need to first add the secondary series, if you are using the strategy builder that is the additional data tab. After adding the series you can select that series as the input while configuring the indicator in the condition.
