Using Chaikin Volatility Indicator

Hi

I'm having issues using the Chaikin Volatility Indicator on my strategy builder, perhaps I'm doing it wrong.

I'm using the indicator as part of my CONDITIONS to enter a trade. I would like to take a trade if the indicator shows below 5.5.

In this case IF the Chaikin Volatility Indicator is LESS than "my user input" (example: 5.5) then it should take a trade. I will attach a screenshot below, thanks

PS: forgot to mention that trades are taking place regardless of what the volatility shows, even when they are higher than the value that I set.

Comparing the value to an input is fine to do.

Please add debugging prints to show the value of the indicator and the value of the input so we are able to confirm on each bar if the condition will evaluate as true or false. Include the time of the bar and labels for each value. Ensure you print all values used in all conditions in the condition set.
