correct way to place stop short order

Assuming price is currently above bearFlagEntryLevel and if I want to go short I need to make sure bearFlagEntryLevel is lower or equal the current price. and reverse for longs? is this correct?

if(bearFlagEntryLevel <= GetCurrentBid())
{
EnterShortStopMarket(1,true, PositionSizeF, bearFlagEntryLevel,"Flag Short");
}

if(bullFlagEntryLevel >= GetCurrentAsk()) {

Yes that sounds potentially correct, you will need to check if what you hve made works by testing it. You can additionally use prints to confirm you logic is executed as expected
