Optimization Parameters Default

From where the default parameters values are taken?
Prior starting an optimization one runs a back-test and optimizes manually few parameters to have a reasonable range of parameters to be optimized.
When I change the strategy analyzer selector from backtest to optimize all parameters are completely different and I have to manually retype all of them in. Is there a way to have the backtest values copied into the optimization parameters values?

Hello giogio1,

The defaults for scripts are taken from their State.SetDefaults. That is where defaults are pre set in scripts.

You can save a template and then reload it when changing modes, that would let you save the settings you have selected and then later reload them.
