Same version, data, strategy, settings, charts, diff results

I have done the following:
1. copy my replay data from one computer to another (from the DB folder in the Ninjatrader 8)
2. copy strategy code from one machine to the other, ensuring they are exactly the same (I wrote the source so I know they are identical)
3. running same exact replay data on each machine

The two machines are calculating differently for some reason.

I noticed this also happens during live market trading (using tradovate on both).... they entering at different times and taking different trades, even with same exact strategy, settings, and chart settings.

Why is this?

Without debugging the strategy on both PC's that would be impossible to say what the specific difference is. We have a guide that goes over comparing strategy results and how to debug a strategy, that would be useful for both comparing historical and realtime or also comparing two different PC's. You would need to add prints into the code to make sure the strategy had started on the exact same data point and also processed the exact same way on both pcs. Comparing the output will let you spot any differences so you can know exactly why its different.

Can you tell me why they would start at different data points if I have them set to start at the same data point on market replay?

That could be due to differences in data, unfortunately I couldn't say if that is the specific problem its just one item that you would need to check by using Print statements in the scripts code.
