Running historical backtest

Hi there!

I am trying to backtest/optimize a strategy tick by tick (I am using ninzarenko). The problem come when I try more than 1 year backtest the strategy analyzer stop there. I guess that is because the dataprovider that NT has does not give more historical data. Someone know how can I adquire more tick data to backtest?

I am dowloading historical data with the dataprovider I have (Ninjatrader) but I still cannot see it in backtest

Thank you for your post.

With NinjaTrader, historical tick data is only available about a year back.

If you would like to obtain more historical tick data, you will need to obtain it from a third-party data provider.
