TLDR: screenshots are only taken of the active tab. I need to know how to make the tab which alerted the trade the active window. to take a screenshot of the appropriate trade idea.
The following post mentions that there are limitations on making a tab the "Active" tab in order to save a screen shot and send to your phone or other share service. I'm hoping that this has been resolved and there may be a solution to this now. My strategy uses multiple time frames and search for trades on about 15 tabs at a time. So the whole point of writing my code has been to reduce mental energy to comb through all the idea's and reduce screen time. I only want to be notified of promising trade ideas.
And while most strategies or indicators may not use this function( as they may not have been sophisticated enough) it is an incredibly powerful tool for someone that wants to monitor the trades their indicator presents or their strategy takes. This can also be a powerful tool for documenting trade ideas to study later on.
