Order Submission Error

My strategy automatically disabled and received error message: "Strategy submitted an order that generated the following error 'Order Rejected'. Strategy has sent cancel requests, attempted to close the position and terminated itself" and "Order type not permitted while market is in pre open ExchangeRejectCode = 2130 affected Order: SellShort 1 Market". What does this mean and how may I avoid it?

This message comes from the exchange and says you are not allowed to place that order type at that time. You should contact your broker's Trade Desk for more information.
