Checking Account position quantity for primary instrument from within the strategy

Is there a way to do this?

The strategy accumulates a position, and exits on certain conditions.
Due to historical calculation the real quantity accumulated in account is often different to strategy position but the strategy would exit the strategy calculated position.

Unless, Adopt Account Position would achieve what i'm asking?
if it is then what does this mean? can i have an example of what i would need to change/handle manually?

You can get the account position or quantity with PositionAccount.MarketPosition and PositionAccount.Quantity.
