hello everyone, i would like to know if anyone can think of a way to detect a sudden increase in volatility in the market, such as when there is news. i would like to be able to include in the strategy in Strategy Builder that no entries are made when an unusual increase occurs. thanks a lot.

Hello micaeliglesias,
I am not aware of a specific indicator for that purpose but other forum users may be able to provide a specific named item. If there is otherwise a specific concept that others use during news events to detect the volatility in a certain way they may also suggest that.
You can search on the user app share for the terms you mentioned to see if any items match your needs as well.
