    Identifying bot

My question is about propfirms, eventually rithmic, but for sure Ninjatrader.

I wrote a bot which is performing very well, but, as you may be aware of, most propfirms don't allow bots. They allow "semi-automated" bots, but I don't know what is a semi-automated bot.

    So my Questions is:
Is the bot name, in a way or another, send to the order system outside of ninjatrader ?

Is there any way a propfirm can identify when a bot sent an order, and if so, in which way they do so ?

    Thanks for tour answers

    Hello Philippe56140,

NinjaTrader is a brokerage and a desktop application.

On the desktop application you can run fully automated NinjaScript Strategies which can automate placing orders to any connected account.

Below is a link to a support article with helpful resources on getting started with C# and NinjaScript.

NinjaTrader does send orders with OrderEntry.Automated from NinjaScript Strategies to identify these to the brokerage and exchange as automated, as per the rules of the CME.
