when i use strategy analyzer for backtest instrument , first i need download for example 3 month data for backtest in historical data
or when backtest is running ninja download historical data in automatic?

If you are connected to a data provider or brokerage that provides data for the instrument and bar type you are testing in the Strategy Analyzer data will automatically be downloaded.

So you mean first I must put ninja in connect mode and not in playback mode??

Hello f.saeidi,

The Playback connection does not provide historical data for the Strategy Analyzer.

The Playback connection plays back recorded data as real-time.

The Strategy Analyzer backtests historical data.

Connect to a data provider or brokerage if you would like historical data for the Strategy Analyzer downloaded.
