Alert based on COLOR of multiple moving averages on 2 time frames
Ive had Global Trading tools ultimate EMA cross indicator for a while and I really like. I don't use the cross but they have a nice feature that changes the color of the moving average based on the steepness of the line. You can use 3 MA's per time frame. I've been liking using it for 2 frames on the same chart. Great way to get a quick feel for what's happening. I want to create an alert based on the colors of the moving averages via the multi time frame? for example if the moving averages are all "magenta" send text alert or make sound etc. Thanks so much! Sorry if this has been done before.Tags: None

Hello Perr0Grande,
To be used as a condition the indicator would need to plot specific signals for those color changes. The color change it self cannot be detected so the indicators code would need to be updated to have a plot that reflects the steepness. For example if the indicator has a default plot color it could have a second plot which reports 0 at that time, when the steepness changes and the color changes it could change the second plot to 1 or -1 depending on the direction. Something like that would e able to be used as a signal.
