Any way to edit an existing strategy to add hot keys to it's buttons?

I downloaded a free strategy that puts a few entry buttons on the Chart Trader. It has some functionality that I like and I would like to set hot keys to some of those buttons. This would require custom scripting to edit the strategy's code and detect key presses. There are some links to examples of scripts that detect key presses in the following post:
