what comes first close [0] or low [0] in price drop

i'm checking to see if the intra bar price hits average position price +3 ticks in a condition. and, i'm curious what is first or if its the same - using close [0] less than or equal to average position price +3 ticks or low [0] less than or equal to average position price + 3 ticks.

Hello SteveReiza,

The Low is created by a new low being observed, a new low is observed when the close is less than the current low price.

The low may or may not be less than your position average price, that depends on the bar series and where your entry was. If you want to know if the current price is less than the average price you would use Close[0]
