Unable to compile strategies since version upgrade

I upgraded to NT 8.1.2.1 a few days ago. Since then I am having severe trouble compiling strategies - when I press the compile button the icon just spins eternally. Sometimes it will work one time after the app launches, but even then it is much slower than it was under the old version. When it gets stuck the only fix is to close NT, and this sometimes hangs up and requires it to be killed via Task Manager. I have had this corrupt files twice now requiring a re-install of NT. Please help, this is a very critical issue that is costing me a lot of time!

Thank you for your post.

Currently our Development Team is aware of an issue with version 8.1.2 where compiling is taking longer than in previous versions. They are working to get a fix out as soon as possible. I will note your case an an impacted user.

Please note that the compile will eventually finish.

As a temporary workaround, you could uninstall 8.1.2 and use 8.1.1.7 until this gets resolved.

Frankly, NinjaTrader_Gaby, given the very large number of issues with 8.1.2.x, NinjaTrader should withdraw the release and make 8.1.1.7 the "latest" until a verifiably working 8.1.2.x version can be released. That would include a period of testing by the NinjaTrader Vendor community and rectification of any further issues that were discovered.
