two sets. in one set multiple groups. then entry
i have a strategy that has the 1st set as one entry method. but there is no action to do anything in that set. then in the 2nd set i have groups and have "any" selected. because any of those can happen. and then, i have enter long as do something. does this strategy read the first set and then the any in the second set to make a combined entry method for the long entry? or, is it just reading the 2nd set for the entry method?Tags: None

Hello SteveReiza,
Thanks for your post.
Only the conditions in the second Set in the strategy would need to be true for the strategy to call the EnterLong() method to place the entry order.
When Set 1 is read and the condition is true, nothing will happen since you have no actions defined in that Set.
You could consider moving the condition in the first Set over to the second Set if you want that condition to be part of the conditions for placing the entry order.
