- 5 ticks from bollinger. arithmetic or ticks

i'm creating a strategy where i need the close to be greater or equal to the bollinger line but to minus 5 ticks from the bollinger line. what is arithmetic in the strategy builder. can i use that because it has a negative? when i just type a negative number it doesn't enter a trade. i need to program an int first. and, those can't be a negative number.

To subtract 5 ticks from the Bollinger line, you can use an offset. Please see the example "How to offset an item value" on the following page:
