    How to calculate lot size Micro NAsdaq MNQ

    Hello traders
    I have a 5000 $ account, I did not start trading yet , I want to know what is the size lot of 1 micro contract of MNQ? how much money the market does with 1 tick?

    The MNQ is a future so there are no lot sizes involved, you would use a quantity like 1 instead.

    The tick size of the instrument is 0.25 so the increments for each price change would be represented in 0.25 dollars of price movement.

    You can find out how much an instruments price per movement would be by multiplying the tick size by the point size. For MNQ that would be 0.25 * 2 which is 0.5$ per tick.

    You can use the NinjaTrader.com margin page to find details for any instrument you would trade, you can search for the instrument and then click on its name to view details.
