Renko using the source as Close instead of OHLC

Hi,

Currently the Renko bricks in Ninja Trader match exactly with the Renkos on OHLC source inTrading View. But is there a way to match them (or is there a custom Renko) to TradingView's Renko bricks with source set to Close.

Unfortunately, I am not clear on what you are asking.

The Renko bar type is built using historical and real-time tick data and isn't based on the ohlc of minute, day, or any other bars type.

The script is open source and you can take a look at the code in the NinjaScript Editor.

Sorry, I'm new to non-time based charts. I will check the code.

On Tradingview I see the there are two different sources - OHLC and Source (seen in the screenshot). When I compare the Renko charts on Trading View and Ninja Trader, I see that the OHLC version of TradingView matches exactly with Ninja Traders Renko chart.
In TradingView when I switch the source to Close, it eliminates a lot of chop (I don't know what it does behind the scenes, there no documentation on it). So, I was wondering if there was a similar configuration or a custom Renko that copies the same functionality.

Unfortunately, Renko bars do not have an option like this.

I am also uncertain what that would be doing.
