Alerts and Limit Orders

Hi, I'm using alerts to let me know when there is an EMA or SMA cross on my chart. The alert works great. I would like to add the Submit an Order action to this alert but I'm a little unsure on the Limit settings. In the Limit Price field is it possible to set a tick offset for when I want the order to trigger? For instance, when the short alert goes off, I want to set a limit sell order that is 5 ticks below the current price. I tried to use -5 in the Limit Price field but the order triggered right on the current price and was not set for 5 ticks below. Is there another way of doing this without creating a Strategy? Thanks.
