How can indicator switch function be added to the strategy?
I have an indicator that has switch (selectable from a drop down) functions I'd like to add to a strategy and retain the option to select between when configuring the strategy, is it possible to do so in the strategy keeping the indicator separate, or do I have to build it into the strategy?Tags: None

Thank you for your post.
If the indicator has user inputs for properties that you would like to have as inputs for your strategy, you will need to add that logic into the strategy. A simple example of this is the SampleMACrossover strategy; it has user inputs for the "Fast" and "Slow" SMA periods. For an example of adding a dropdown menu for user inputs, please see the following reference sample:
