How to Create ATM Order Based on Moving Averages

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to create a custom ATM template that will automatically set my stop onto a moving average. I read the article and viewed the video on how to attach orders to an indicator manually, and I understand that method. I am unable to find any information about how to turn this into an ATM template. There is a hint in the article "Enabling Attach to Indicator on an ATM Strategy" that this can be done, but there are no instructions that I am able to find about how to do it.

You would need to use custom programming to do that automatically, attaching an order to an indicator is a manual process. There is a sample strategy that comes with NinjaTrader called SampleATMStrategy that shows how to submit and manage an ATM from code. That would be required in addition to using AtmStrategyChangeStopTarget() to update the target prices based on your indicator value. You can find information about that topic in the following links.
