    How to remove cancel pending orders

    Dear team,

    I am running recently into a few issues with orders that appear on state "Cancel pending" and they never cancelled. In fact, they end up getting filled. Is there any way to cancel manually and with Ninjascript?

    Hello linkcou,

    Cancel pending means there was an attempt to cancel the order but the order could not be cancelled.

    Is this happening to every order that is attempted to be cancelled either manually or from NinjaScript?
    Is this a live, demo, or Sim101 account the order is being placed to?
    May I also confirm you have updated to 8.1.2.1?

    Clicking the X on the order on the Orders tab of the Control Center and supplying an order object to CancelOrder() in NinjaScript attempts to cancel an order. However if an order is in Cancel pending, the order has already been attempted to be cancelled.

      Hello Chelsea, thanks for the quick answer!

      It's a funded Topstep simulated account with Rythmic. I'm on version 8.1.1.7 64-bit. How can i update it to get the latest?

      It doesnt happen all the times. Just from time to time. The major issue is that i am unable to cancel manually the order when i click on the X

        Hello linkcou,

        The latest release can be downloaded in the Client Portal.


        If the order cannot be cancelled this could be an issue with the order on the brokerage, or it might not be in a cancellable state (such as already filled), or an in-flight issue where the cancellation is sent at the same time the order is already filled or cancelled.

        Please let me know if you can reproduce with 8.1.2.1.
