Cannot remove input despite it not being used in any conditions or actions

Hi,
I have one input called "SLPrice", that I cannot remove from the inputs, although I am not using it anymore in the conditions or actions anywhere. All other inputs, that I removed from conditions and actions I had no trouble removing. Only this one stubborn instance cannot be remove. Are there cases know, where this happens? I have looked at the code and the input name shows up in two sections still:

Is this a strategy you created in the Strategy Builder or is it an unlocked script in the NinjaScript Editor? Please try Ctrl + F in the NinjaScript Editor to search the code for SLprice and double-check if it is coming up anywhere else in the strategy.
If you continue to get a message when trying to remove SLprice, please provide a screenshot of the message.

Hi Emily, yes, it is created with strategy builder and has not been unlocked. I did already search in the code and found the two occurences of the input "SLprice" as shown in my inital post. I am getting this error message:

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? This may be found at Control Center > Help > About. Please include the full version number.

I would also like to test this strategy on my end. Please export it via Control Center > Tools > Export > NinjaScript AddOn then attach the .zip that is generated to your reply so I may import it on my end and test removing SLprice and see if I get the same message.

I understand and apologize for any inconvenience. As a test, you could try making a copy of this script in the strategy builder and attempt to remove the input from the copy:

• From the Welcome screen, hover over this strategy from the list and select "save as" to create a copy

• Now, in the copied version of the script, please try to remove SLprice
  • If the same message pops up, remove one of the sets from the "Conditions and Actions" page then try to remove SLprice again
  • If the message persists, continue removing one set at a time and attempting to remove SLprice until it is successful. Keep track of which set was removed, as this could be a clue as to which set is causing the message to occur
  • Once it is successful, review that set in the original version of the strategy to see why it might be affecting the removal of SLprice

Without seeing the strategy itself, this is the best advice I can give. Working with a copy of the strategy is best to prevent any permanent to your original strategy that you spent time and effort to create, though the behavior of the copy should offer valuable information regarding the original version.
