backtesting AI generated strategy

Hi,

is it possible to backtest a script that was created by the AI generate tool in the backtest option in the strategy analyzer?

Thank you for your post.

An AI Generate backtest type is a sort of backtest in and of itself. From there, you may view the generated strategy via the "View" button in the results. This opens the strategy code int eh NinjaScript Editor where you can then save the strategy if desired. If you save the strategy, you could then run additional backtests on that saved strategy. thank you for your quick response,

I have saved the script but i cant see it in the backtest option in the strategy analyzer.
how can i make it visible?

Thank you for your reply.

After saving the script, you must compile it within the NinjaScript Editor window. This is an option in the right-click menu or you may press F5 as a keyboard shortcut to compile. Once the compile is successful, you may need to close and re-open the Strategy Analyzer to see the newly saved and compiled strategy as an option for a backtest.
