    RSI crossover below/above specific level

    Hello
how can a specify in the strategy builder that I want the RSI to crossover the average and that crossover to happen below the 30 level?
Using Stochastic would be the same... K line to cross above/ below the D line and that crossover to happen below/above 20/80 level?

    Thanks

    Hello Mathias79,

These would be conditions that you can make using the builder. CrossAbove and CrossBelow are selections that you can use when comparing two indicator plots. If you are new to using the builder I would suggest watching the strategy builder webinar in the following link, that goes over making cross conditions using indicator plots. In both of your questions you would need to select the indicator plots and then use CrossAbove or Below depending on the condition you wanted.

the second link it's taking me to a "page not found"
I've seen that video and I get how to do a cross over. Stochastic K cross over Stochastic D. but I want to know how to make that crossover be below 20 level. I can use Numeric Value to say Stochastic K cross over numeric value 20... but that doesn't necessarily mean that there was a crossover (K over D) below that level. I hope I make sense

        Hello Mathias79,

If you are having trouble with the link that information can be found in the help guide under the Operations -> Strategy builder -> Condition builder section.

For a crossover to be below a certain level you would need to use Misc -> Numeric value in the condition. For example the indicator plot crosses below Misc -> Numeric value.

Sorry... I may not explained this correctly.
What you suggested is what I wrote before but that doesn't help.
See image one, RSI is below level 20 but the average is above. if I say RSI cross above numeric value 20, that doesn't include the crossover RSI over Average
In image 2, the crossover happened over the level, meaning, the RSI crosses below the average line and that happened above level 70 so now when the RSI crosses below level 70, it included the crossover ( RSI crossover below average ) Does that make sence?
what I want is RSI crosses over average - below level 20 and then RSI crosses above level 20 /// RSI crosses below average over the level 70 and then crosses below level 70

            Hello Mathias79,

If you also want to include the average you would need to make another condition for that as well. If what you are trying to do requires multiple steps you may need to use multiple sets and variables, it would depend on the sequence of events that you wanted to check for.
