Buy Limit

Hello!

Just started with NT, using TradeStation as well. Trying to figure out how to code in NT Script the following EL code:

"Buy ("Buy") Next Bar at open next bar limit"

Any feedback would be appreciated.

To buy at the open of a bar you would need to make sure the strategy is set to Calculate OnEachTick or OnPriceChange and then use IsFirstTickOfBar https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...FirstTickOfBar

You can then submit a limit order using the approperiate method for the direction of the trade.

Keep in mind that if you are wanting the order to remain active for multiple OnBarUpdate events you need to keep calling the order so your condition needs to remain true until the order has filled. You can optionally use a Live until cancelled order by using the overload set with isLiveUntilCancelled which makes it so the order just stays active until filled or cancelled. If the order does not fill and you do not cancel it the order will remain active.
