S/B Defaults to previous bar. / need work around

i have built a moving avg. crossover strategy, but S/B defaults to the previous bar and i am wanting to use current bar. Is their a work around ?

Thanks for your post.

To have a crossover (CrossAbove/CrossBelow) condition trigger on the current bar, you would need to set your strategy to use Calculate.OnPriceChange.

Thanks for your notes.

The Lookback Period property must be set to a value of 1 or greater when creating a crossover condition in the Strategy Builder.

If you try to set the Lookback Period property to 0, it will revert back to 1.

To detect if a crossover condition happens on the currently forming bar, you could set the Lookback Period property to 1 and set the Calculate setting to Calculate.OnPriceChange.
