Identical data sets, Strategy Analyzer different results on diff computers

I also have a problem where an EMA crossabove for the same strategy, indicator and data occurs on one computer but is offset and doesn't occur on the other. I have no idea why.

Hello Skifree,

Did you use prints to debug the script and make sure that all datapoints were identical between tests? If any datapoints differ that would change indicator values which in turn would cause differences in crossover conditions and when the strategy trades. To know why two tests are different you would have to add prints into the script to get a better idea of what difference there was. Without doing that step it would be extremely difficult to say the tests were exactly the same or know why they worked differently between the two tests.
