Yes, those using statements are necessary and are auto-generated when creating a script either via the Strategy Builder or the NinjaScript Wizard. Depending on how you generated your code, or if you simply copy/pasted from somewhere, these using statements may have been missing from your script. The NinjaScript Wizard should always be used when starting a new script as it will generate the minimum code needed to get programming and support the NinjaScript type that is created:
