How to trade your ninjatrader strategy live?

Hello, I have tried multiple times over the phone and email and no one is able to teach me how to run your ninjatrader strategy live. Does anyone know how to do that?

I created a strategy and tried using it live and it doesn't work even though the Connection says "Live" and the Strategy is "enabled".

You could practice enabling a NinjaScript strategy using the SampleMACrossover strategy that comes default with NinjaTrader.

If the strategy 'Enabled' checkbox is checked in the Strategies tab of the Control Center and the color of the strategy is green, the strategy is ready to place trades and will do so when the conditions to place trades becomes true. If the conditions in the strategy does not become true, no trades would be placed.

Once you enable the NinjaScript strategy, does the 'Enabled' checkbox appear checked?

What is the color of the strategy in the Strategies tab of the Control Center?

If this is a NinjaScript strategy you created, have you added debugging prints to the strategy to understand how the logic in the strategy is evaluating?

Do you see any error messages appear in the Log tab of the Control Center when running the strategy? If so, what exactly does the error report?

Thanks for the response. The Button is Green in the Control Center and the enabled box is checked. There are no errors or issues so far. The strategy took two trades earlier this morning however, there was no impact to the PnL.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.?.?.?)

Did the strategy only place entry orders and were the entry orders filled? Or, Limit orders placed by the strategy and those orders have not filled?

Does the strategy use Stop Loss and Profit Targets in its logic? If so, has the Stop Loss or Profit Target been filled for the filled entry order?

Do you use Atm Strategy Methods in the strategy?

Does the Unrealized PnL or Realized PnL column in the Strategies tab of the Control Center report a value for the enabled strategy?

Please test the SampleMACrossover strategy that comes default with NinjaTrader.

Do you see the Unrealized PnL and Realized PnL columns report values when the SampleMACrossover strategy places trades realtime?

strategy placed an order and close it out but not on live accounts.
No-one can answer a simple question of how to run a strategy to a live account.

I figured it out. Here is how you do it: from the chart: shortcut key Cntr + S ; select your strategy; then on the right side "properties" panel ; scroll down to Account. Select from the drop down here.

To enable a custom NinjaScript strategy on your live account you would need to set the Account property to your live account and check the 'Enable' checkbox in the Strategy Properties window.

See the attached screenshot highlighting where the Account property and Enable Property is located in the Properties section of the Strategies window.

What was it mean when the strategy is enabled but it glows yellow?how will I know a trade has been placed on live market conditions? I built everything through the strategy builder. I am using the most recent release of NinjaTrader
