Add chart trdes button to interact with Strategy

I am building a strategy using strategy builder, and I need to add some buttons in the chart trader window to be able to toogle between "bools" while running the strategy.
The strategy has 2 trading modes, breakout and range. A button would enable/disable either of the modes in order for the strategy to take trades in the expected direction.


I have not found any resources to be able to pull this out. I have some sample codes but way too complex to use in my simple strategy.
