Long term backtesting problem

Hi
Im using Rithmic data provider for accessing historical data , with the help of ninjatrader help guides page i found out rithmic provider can give me Futures historical tick data and Bid/Ask tick data as well , then i communicate with them and ask about how many years of historical data can they provide and they respond depend on instrument ,at least 7 years of data is available
so i downloaded about 5 years of tick data ( from Tools > Historical data > Load > Download , and i checked all the check boxes )
but when i try to backtest my strategy for 5 years with Strategy analyzer it just analyze my codes for 1 year only (only 2023)
i also tried to change some option on analyzer but nothings change
can you tell me what should i do so i can backtest for 5 years?

Hello FarzadHA,

Are you certain that you have all of the data for that time period with no gaps? If you are missing data between some dates that may be the reason. I would suggest opening a chart with the data in question to visibly check that it is all present and then apply the strategy to the chart. That would let you test if you get the same result or not. If you get the same result that may be due to other data requirements that your strategy has not being met or also how the logic is equating over that time period. In that case you would likely need to add prints to the strategy to make sure its processing those dates and then check how the entry conditions are evaluating on those bars.
