Email Share Service From Inside Strategy?

Hi all,

I am trying to have one of our Strategies email trade alerts to a user. When we use the EmailTrades indicator attached below, it seems to work and we get emails sent based on the Share Service configuration we set up in the Tools > Options menu.

However, when we try to adapt the code to run inside of a Strategy instead of as a standalone indicator, we notice that no emails get triggered. Why is this?
I am able to authenticate with Gmail successfully and send a test email from within NT8, but when trying to have our Strategy send the email, we get nothing and don't see anything in the log files.

Any ideas?

We would need to see what code was used in the strategy to get a better idea of what's happening.

Have you used a print to confirm the condition in the strategy was being called?

We ended up figuring out the issue. Need to make sure that the Account object was available during a real-time execution before attempting to send an email. Appreciate your help!
