ATM Strategy Rejected Stop Order

I've written a strategy that relies on an ATM Strategy Template to manage the trades. I recently received the attached error when running the strategy. It appears that the stop order was rejected, which then caused an issue with the target order. I'm familiar with why the stop order was rejected, but I'm not sure how to work around the issue when it happens in the ATM Strategy. Any advice?

So I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:

• What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.?.?.?)
• Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green in the lower-left corner of the Control Center window.
• Do you receive an error on the screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
  • For example, prior to this error message, were there any messages related to the Stop Loss order? This can be seen for profit targets if the stop loss order tied to the target via OCO is also rejected upon submission.

I am editing my response; I see you have specifically said it was a rejected stop order. I can see Target1 was rejected as well. What I suspect happened is that the Stop Order was submitted at a price very close to the market, and ended up being on the incorrect side of the market (this can happen in moments of high volatility). Then, since the Stop order was rejected, the OCO ID is no longer valid. The Profit Target order subsequently gets submitted but is also rejected and the OCO ID is no longer valid due to the stop being rejected.

A way to prevent this from happening is to use wider stops in your ATM strategy template.
