Does anyone have any suggestions for copying strategy templates between strategy versions besides manually copying over the parameters? Sometimes the new versions have new features and other times it is just bug fixes.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum community!
Strategy templates are specific to the strategy they were created for. Even in the case of a new version of the strategy, that is a separate NinjaScript file and the template may not be copied over other than manually copying over the parameters, as you have suggested. You would have to go through the process of configuring and saving a template each time a new strategy file is involved.
