I had a strategy running and I mistakenly left the ATM enabled on the chart, after my strategy got into a trade it closed at the wrong stop and gave me an error and disabled the strategy. Would having ATM enabled cause this?

That should not have had any effect on the strategy, strategies normally don't interact with the chart trader so selecting an ATM would not change how the strategy is working. If you were manually trading ATM's in addition to the strategy working that could have an effect on the strategy.
