Keep strategy enabled

Whenever I make a manual trade, my auto strategy is disabled and I then have to go back and re-enable it. Is there a way to keep it enabled unless I manually disable it?

Hello lbolton64,

That is an expected feature of strategies, certain manual actions like closing a position will disable the strategy. Strategies are not intended to be used in combination with manual trading. If you want to make a tool that allows for manual trading using the platforms existing tools you would need to create an indicator and then use the addon framework for placing trades or tracking orders/changes.

Another alternative is to add custom buttons from your strategy so you can manually trade using the custom buttons. As long as the strategy does the trading it won't be disabled, the buttons could be used to instruct the strategy to place strategy based trades.
