Cannot open Strategies window

I'm unable to open the Strategies window on the chart. When I try to open it, Ninja Trader freezes and I have to close everything.
My workspace only has one chart, with no other indicator, and loading ES 1 minute for the past 5 days. I do not have any other Workplace opened.

I'm using Ninja Trader 8 version 8.028.0 64 bit

Is this a result of something you had recently imported or created using NinjaScript? I noted that you posted in the strategy development sub forum which generally entails that you had created something and had questions about it.

The result you are seeing would likely be caused by a strategy which has a logical error, you would commonly see a freeze like this when opening the strategies menu if your strategy has a infinite loop in one of its public properties. If you created something and then started having this happen you can disable your strategy by opening the NinjaScript editor, expand the strategies folder and then right click the strategy -> Exclude from compilation. That will prevent it from being used when the strategies menu is open and allow you to fix the problem.

That was the problem. I just created my first strategy. After disabling it, the Strategy window opened as expected. Thank you for the quick reply!

Update: The error was something in my script calling itself recursively (infinite loop). Just caught it. It's weird that excluding the scripts didn't fix the issue though, but regardless, fixed now.

I just started having this problem, but excluding my strategy scripts from compilation does not fix the issue.
