Strategybuilder Orderflows

Hi, I'm using the software from Mike Valtos, 'Orderflows'.

I have difficulties about entering the conditions in the strategybuilder.

Can somebody help me with this?

Hello Tomdr,

The best course of action would be to contact the developer of that item to check if it can be used in the builder or for signals. As this is a third party item our support would have no details on how it can be used. If any forum members use this item they can certainly reply here as well.

The strategy builder can use indicators that have plots, any supported indicators that can be used will be listed in the indicators folder when making a condition in the strategy builder. If the indicator does not show up in that folder that would mean its not programmed in a way for it to be used as a signal with a plot. It may have other uses but the developer of that item would need to detail its correct use.

The indicator does show up in folder in the strategybuilder so I guess it can be used.

Hello Tomdr,

If it shows up and you can select it you may be able to use it. You would need to apply the indicator to a chart and see what values its plot produces, based on that you could form a condition that matches the output of the plot.

Where do I find the value? Its an idicator that plots sometimes a color in a bar, or a ratio above a bar.

Hello Tomdr,

You can check the charts databox however it sounds like the indicator makes infrequent markings which would usually mean it can't be used as a strategy signal. If the indicator is only drawing text or coloring those won't be able to be used as a signal, it would need some form of a plot to be used in the builder.

Isn't ratio supposed to show up only sometimes? If he has indicator settings exposed to script you can use Builder to build a strategy from there.
