HeikenAshi8() on Renko chart

Hello, There are data series of HeikenAshi Minute and HeikenAshi Tick charts, but none for Renko charts.
How would one develop a strategy to use the HeikenAshi8() indicator on a Renko chart? Could you post sample code for say a MA crossover of this?

Are you asking how to use the heiken ashi 8 indicator from the user app share on a renko chart? If so you would need to use a renko chart as the primary instrument for your strategy.

Hello, I know that by adding the HA indicator to a Renko chart will do a HeikenAshi Renko chart.
What I want to know is how to create a strategy to do something with this in place. The strategy will be able to run on any instrument picked and can be tested in the strategy analyzer, where Renko is selected as the chart type. If you can post sample code to show how to do this, that'd be appreciated.

What I'm trying to test is strategy performance. With a regular Minute chart, strategies in the strategy analyzer underperform the same strategy run on a HeikenAshi Minute chart and so forth. So I want to test if the same is the case with a HeikenAshi Renko. Since we don't have a data series called HeikenAshi Renko, I'm looking for a round-about way to do this.

If you want to use the indicator in conditions you can use the indicator in the strategy builder to create conditions for its plots. You can view the plots it has by applying it to a chart.

The heikenashi8 is an indicator so it would use whatever dataseries you select. If you wanted a minute chart you would use minute bars, if you wanted renko you would use renko bars. The indicator could calculate based on the bar data you use.

I went to Strategy Builder and don't see how to add Renko. On the Conditions tab, I also don't see how to use the HA indicator to add the Renko dataseries.
Kindly SHOW me what you are talking about.

To use a renko bars you would need to open a renko chart and apply the strategy to that chart, you can't select renko as a secondary series in the builder.
