Adding On/Off Button to a Strategy

Hi,

Is it possible to add a chart object button to a strategy to switch it on/off. This would come handy during economic calendar announcements, at the the moment I'm stopping the stragry before the announcement and restarting after. I came across this page which does that to an "indicator", I was wondering if this can be done on a "strategy"?
