Strategy to track crossover of 2 differently scaled indicators

    Hello,
How would one code a strategy to track indicator crossovers where each indicator is unrelated such that they plot on different scales, asides from using a chart strategy?
For instance, a stochastics scale goes from 0 to 100 and the MACD goes from -0.01 to to 0.01. How would one track the crossover of one with another in a strategy without using a chart strategy?
    Thanks!

Convert them to the same scale. For instance, you could normalize MACD by using min/max to a range of 0 to 100 like stochastics. Or, you could transform them both in the same way e.g. z-score them and compare those.

        Hello aaadetos,

        Thanks for your post.

QuantKey_Bruce is correct. You could try using a minimum and maximum range from 0 to 100 similar to the Stochastics indicator.

The Stochastics indicator could be viewed by opening a New > NinjaScript Editor window, opening the Indicators folder, and double-clicking the 'Stochastics' file to see its' code.

Please let us know if we may assist further.
