Position.Close(SignalName) documentation?

Hello,

I found the object Position referenced in the documentation. It is accessible within OnBarUpdate.

IntelliType shows there is a signature of Position.Close(SignalName).

Is it correct to assume this is to close the position?

Hello Skechers,

If you are using a strategy the correct way to close a position would be to submit an exit using the approach you are using, for example in the managed approach you can use ExitLong. The Close method for the position object is not documented so I am unaware if that may have any problems when being used from a strategy.
